Dear Friends,
Thank you for your interest in Congregation B'nai Torah. We believe that as
you visit and learn more about us, it will become clear that we are striving to
create a unique and uplifting Jewish experience for all who join us. Please
accept my invitation to join us for services, social or fundraising events, or
educational programs.
As an egalitarian, progressive conservative Synagogue, we believe that we
take into account the changing world and the realities in which we live, by
progressive practices and thinking in our approach to synagogue life. We strive
to have a positive impact, not just on our members, but also on our community as
a whole. We encourage all to join, but also feel an obligation to serve
non-members when their need arises. Any Jewish person and their family are
welcome to worship at Congregation B'nai Torah anytime, including the High
Holiday Services. Our goal is to make all who join feel welcome. Non-Jewish spouses and children are
welcome at B'nai Torah. We have a strong Religious School serving children from
kindergarten, through Bar/Bat Mitzvah, to high school (Confirmation).
Being a young Synagogue, we may be lacking some of the physical amenities of
an older or larger congregation. One of our challenges is to continue the
intimacy and warmth that you will find here now as we work towards acquiring the
physical facilities and the growth necessary to achieved them. We will be
successful in that goal and we welcome you on the journey!
If we may be of any help to you, or you have any questions, please feel free
to contact us directly via E-Mail (Email
Norman) | ( Email
Harvey) or via the
Synagogue Office (386-672-1174).
Thank you again for your interest.
